Florence M. (Raimo) Souza, age 82, of Salem, NH, formerly of Somerville & Woburn, MA, died Friday at the Colonial Poplin Nursing Home, Fremont, NH.
She was born in Medford, MA, one of seven children born to Patrick and Elizabeth Raimo. She grew up and was schooled in Somerville, MA. She was a resident of Salem, NH for the past 6 years, formerly of Woburn and Somerville, MA.
While working at McAlister & Bicknell in Cambridge, MA, she met her husband Ray, whom she married in 1943. When her husband was in the Navy she worked at Woolworths five and dime in Central Square. After the military they moved to Somerville and finally Woburn raising a family of 6 children. Mrs. Souza was a retired homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, Oct. 18 at 10 AM at Mary Queen of Peace Church, 200 Lawrence Rd, Salem, NH. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, NH.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, October 17 from 4-8 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St, Salem, NH.
