Obituary

Pauline (Dunham) Riley, a resident of Needham for over 50 years, died Fri. Oct. 13, 2006 at her son’s home in Abington. She was 84.
Born in Charleston, Maine she graduated from Higgins Classical Institute in Charleston and from Bentley College. Mrs. Riley served with the U.S. Coast Guard SPARS during WW II. She had been a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Needham for over 50 years serving on the Altar Guild and Steeple Exchange. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and many area bowling leagues and she had volunteered at the Glover Memorial Hospital in Needham for many years.
Wife of the late Seth Riley she is survived by her sons Alan Riley and his wife Janet of Abington and Brian Riley and his wife Marcia of Silver Spring MD, her grandchildren Kathleen, Nicholas, Christopher and Justin Riley, and her sisters and brothers Madeline Patterson, Dorothy Minott, Charles Dunham, Nat Harris and Carl Dunham.
A memorial service will be held on Tues Oct 17 at 11 AM in the Christ Episcopal Church Chapel 1132 Highland Ave Needham. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours will be in the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave. Needham on Mon 4-7 PM.
