New Bedford – Eugene A. Rheaume, 90, of S. Dartmouth died October 13, 2006 at Sacred Heart Home. He was the widower of Mary J. (Amaral) Rheaume.
Mr. Rheaume was born in New Bedford, son of the late Leo and Genevieve (Lanoue) Rheaume. He was a U.S. Army Air Force veteran of WW II. He was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Church, Westport. He was employed as a manager by the Northern Electric Company, New Bedford for many years.
Survivors include 2 daughters: Christine M. Rheaume and her husband Mark Gumprecht and Catherine Rheaume, all of S. Dartmouth; 2 sons: Eugene R. Rheaume and John M. Rheaume and his wife Robin, all of S. Dartmouth; a sister: Margaret Lapointe of Avon, MA; a brother: Armand Rheaume of S. Dartmouth; 3 grandchildren: Brenden, Christopher and Erica Rheaume; several nieces & nephews; and his dear friends Raymond and Vi Perry.
He was brother of the late Raymond Rheaume, Irene Surprenant and Cecilia St. Aubin.

Funeral from the funeral home on Tuesday at 10 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. at St. John the Baptist Church, Westport.
