WORCESTER_Hannah M. (Pryce) Manning, 79, of 475 Chandler Street, died Friday, October 13th in St. Vincent Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas B. Manning. She is survived by 2 daughters, Iris A. wife of Samuel Shulman of Rutland and Diane M. wife of Robert M. Warren of Attleborough, 4 grandsons, Daniel T., James M. and William J. Warren and Adam C. L. Shulman, and many nephews and nieces here and in England. A brother Edward Pryce and 2 sisters, Iris Webb and Oriel Abrams predeceased her.
She was born in Ellesmere, Shropshire, England the daughter of Charles and Mary (Dovaston) Pryce. Mrs. Manning had worked for many years as a hostess at the former Bancroft Hotel and later as a pharmacy technician for Monahan Drugstores and CVS. She was a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church and served on its vestry and was chaplain for the Worcester Republican Woman’s Club.
The funeral is Tuesday, October 17th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 0 Freeland Street. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. In lieu of lowers please make memorial donations to the Salvation Army, 72 Cambridge Street, Worcester, MA 01603.
