Sharkey (DerHaroutunian) Davagian, 84, died Friday, October 13, 2006, in the Christopher House. She leaves her husband of 60 years, Sahag Davagian, two sons, Ronald S. Davagian of Tampa, Florida and Bryan P. Davagian of Paxton, a sister Susie Kasparian of Warwick, R.I., a brother, Harry DerHaroutunian of Worcester, two grandchildren, Scott and Heather Davagian, and two great-grandchildren. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Bedros and Manooshag (Chalikian) DerHaroutunian. She was a graduate of Commerce High School. Sharkey co-owned and operated Reliable Market with her husband for 59 years. She was a member of Armenian Church of Our Saviour.
There are no calling hours. Family and friends are welcome to attend the funeral service which will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 17, at Armenian Church of Our Saviour, 87 Salisbury Street. Burial will be in Mooreland Cemetery, Paxton. Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester is directing arrangements.
