Norman G. MacLean, of Needham died Monday Oct. 9, 2006 at his home. He was 70.
Mr. MacLean was born in Hyannis and raised in Waltham and also lived in Newton, West Yarmouth and Hawaii. Mr. MacLean was a real estate broker in the Newton -Waltham area for many years and at one time was a contractor and built many homes on Cape Cod. In recent years he drove a school bus for Eastern Bus in Newton.
He was devoted to his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed playing golf, boating, camping and watching his grandson’s soccer games.
He leaves his daughters Heather Kidher and her husband Azad of Newton and Hyacinth MacLean of Waltham, his grandsons Michael MacLean and his wife Behnan of Allston, and Ary Kidher of Newton and his brother Donald MacLean of Waltham. He was the son of the late James and Juliette MacLean, former husband of the late Sandra (Jacobs) MacLean and father of the late Holly MacLean.
His funeral Mass was private and celebrated in St. Thomas the Apostle Chapel in Falmouth Heights on Sat Oct 14, 2006. He loved the ocean and Cape Cod. Burial was at sea.
