George J. Panos, 68, of Nashua, NH, died Wednesday, October 11, 2006 in Houston, Texas. Mr. Panos was born in Lewiston, ME on June 1, 1938, a son of the late John G. and Edna M. (Daigle) Panos. He was a resident of Nashua for the past 26 years, formerly living in Framingham, MA and Derry, NH. Mr. Panos was a US Air Force veteran. He was a self employeed software engineer. He enjoyed playing the stock market and was a follower of Ayn Rand. Mr. Panos was an avid reader, and especially enjoyed technical journals.
He is survived by four brothers, Andrew Panos of Derry, Paul Panos of Windsor, CT, Leon Panos of Ione, CA, and Philip Panos of Houston, TX; and also by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends called on Monday, October 16th from 7 - 9pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. Funeral services were held on Tuesday at 1:30pm in the funeral home. The burial followed in Forest Hill Cemetery in East Derry. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, attn: Major Carl Carvill, 1 Montgomery Ave., Nashua, NH 03060.
