Boylston—Eugene E. Sibley, 87, died Saturday, September 30, 2006, at home. His wife, Shirley M. (Nilson) Sibley, died in 1999. He leaves two daughters, Carol J. Meyer of Florida and Cheryl L. Bassett of Rutland, six grandchildren, and 10-great grandchildren. He was born in Worcester, son of Frank B. and Myra O. (Williams) Sibley. He was educated at North High in Worcester and was a drafting student at Boys Trade. He served in the U.S. armed forces during WWII. Mr. Sibley was a chief machine designer checker for Morgan Construction Co. of Worcester for 36 years, retiring in 1981.
A private memorial service was held on Friday, October 6, at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester. Burial was in Pine Grove Cemetery, Boylston. For on-line guestbook, please visit:
