Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Route 123) Brockton Monday at 8 am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 9 am. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 11:15 am. Visiting hours Sunday 2-6pm. Obituary
James J. Gallagher died at home after a period of failing health. He was born in Randolph, the son of the late Charles G. and Dorothy A. (Christo) Gallagher. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict. Mr. Gallagher has been employed as a facility manager for the Carney Realty Trust Properties of Brockton for over 40 years, previous to that he worked for the former Randy Manufacturing Company in Randolph. He enjoyed traveling especially to Aruba, as well as several cruises to various destinations. He loved talk radio, country music, Boston Bruins, working but most of all his family.
