MELBOURNE, FL – Thomas K. Milton age 82 died March 11, 2005 at his residence in Melbourne, Florida.
Born and educated in Lawrence, he made his home from 1967 to 1988 in Methuen, MA, before retiring to Sarasota, Florida. He attended Merrimack College in North Andover, where he was the Valedictorian of his graduating class receiving his bachelors degree. He served in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged. For 26 years he was an audit supervisor with the U.S. Department of Defense and retired from the DCAA with the Federal Government. He was an attendant of St. Augustine’s Church on Ames Street in Lawrence, MA. He was a member of the BPOE Lawrence Elks and the Knights of Columbus. He was also an active volunteer with the Meals on Wheels Program.
He leaves his wife of 58 years, Doris G. (Gaudette) Milton of Melbourne, FL, formerly of Lawrence, MA.
Children, Kevin P. Milton and Joyce E. Petrone both of Melbourne, FL.
5 grandchildren Byan,Jamie, Katie, Michael and Erin Milton.
4 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Thomas was the father of the late Thomas C. Milton and Joanne V. Milton
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11:00a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish/St. Augustine Chapel 128 Ames Street Lawrence, MA. Burial will follow in the elmwood Cemetery in Methuen, MA. Local arrangements are the direction of the Pollard Funeral Home, Methuen, MA.
