Obituary

Romolo V. “Sal” Salvucci, 82 of Medford died Sunday after a brief illness in the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center East Campus Boston, MA

Born in Quincy, he lived in Medford for the past 59 years and was one of thirteen children to the late Pasquala (Rufo) and Vincenzo Salvucci. Sal was a Machine Technician with the former New England Adding Machine Company for 20 years and retired in 1989. He served in the U.S. Army during WW II from 1943 to 1946.

Beloved husband of Anna (Pompeo) Salvucci. Devoted father of Nancy Salvucci, Vincent Salvucci and his wife Kathleen all of Londonderry, New Hampshire. Loving grandfather of Kara Salvucci, Matthew Coholan and his wife Cynthia. Brother of Mary DeAngelis of Quincy, and Flora Stanley of Maine and Florida.

Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Friday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 10 AM.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.

Visiting hours Thursday 4 - 8.

Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.

As an expression of sympathy memorial contributions may be sent in Sal’s name to the St. Jude Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
