Mrs. Ruby Wolfe Shaw age 83, of Water Valley, MS passed away in Zionsville, Indiana on Monday, October 9, 2006. She was a retired secretary for the Soil Conservation Service in Coffeeville, MS and was a member of the Coffeeville Church of Christ.
Visitation services will be Friday evening, October 13, 2006 in the Gardiner Room of Seven Oaks Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be Saturday, October 14, 2006 at 10:00 AM in Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home with Brother Don Roberson, Brother Allen Wiese and Brother Jessie Robertson presiding. Interment will follow in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Yalobusha County.
Surviving Mrs. Shaw are; daughter Jeanne Shaw Evans of Zionsville, IN; Charlie M. Shaw, Sr. of Water Valley, MS; sisters, Nan Jones of Chattanooga, TN and Mary Ann Fly of Coffeeville, MS; brothers, James Wolfe of Southaven, MS and Bobby Wolfe of birmingham, AL; seven grandchildren, Charlie Michael Shaw, Jr. of Horn Lake, MS, Susan S. Williamson of Juneau,Alaska, Missy S. Griffith of Coalinga, CA, Neal Robertson of Nashville, TN, Jesse E. Robertson of Waco, TX, Natalie C. Evans of Zionsville, IN and Laura B. Evans of Zionsville, IN ; twelve step-grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Shaw was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Melvin Shaw (Dec. 17, 1982), a daughter Sandra Shaw Robertson (Oct. 18, 1979), her parents Jesse Monroe and Modena McCullar Wolfe, one sister, Arline W. Gardiner, four brothers Ernest Leo Wolfe, Carl Wolfe, Roy Wolfe and Leon Wolfe.
