Robert R. “Dewey” Dewhurst, 58, of Seabrook, NH died Sunday Oct. 8th at Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport, MA after a brief illness. He was a previous long time resident of Salem, NH and had also lived in Amesbury, MA.
Dewey was born in Lawrence, MA the son of the late Philip and May (Hargraves) Dewhurst. He worked at the Fraser Pontiac Car Dealership in Salisbury, MA. He retired from Lucent Technologies in North Andover, MA where he had worked for 31 years. Dewey was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.

Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4-8 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. A Funeral Service will be Thursday at 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Cremation will follow.
