Obituary

Marlborough: Justin Bruozis 85 formerly of 11 Lake Avenue died September 11th in Westridge Healthcare Center following an illness.

He is survived by a daughter Luida Jankauskiene of Kaunas Lithuania, a sister Anastasia Lietuvninkas of Worcester, one grandson, one great granddaughter, two great grandsons and one great granddaughter. A son Valentinas Bruozis of Lithuania died in 1991.Mr. Bruozis was born in Lithuania a son of Kazimiras and Ursule (Salinskaite) Bruozis he was educated in Lithuania and moved here many years ago. During World War II, he worked with the U.S.Army 86th Labor Company with whom he served as a supervisor.

He worked for eighteen years as a Security Guard for The Worcester Telegram & Gazette before retiring in 1992.

A longtime member of Saint Casimir Parish and its Choir, he was also a member of Saint Paul's Cathedral Choir for many years. Mr. Bruozis was a member of The Lithuanian Charitable Society and The Lithuanian Social Club, he was also a member of LMM Ratelis, a Lithuanian Art lovers group. He was also a member of Singletary Rod & Gun Club.

The funeral will be held today, September 13th from The Dirsa-Morin Funeral Home 298 Grafton Street. (www.Worcesterfuneral.com) with a Mass at 10:30 in Saint Casimir Church 41 Providence Street.Entombment will follow in Notre Dame Mausoleum.A calling hour will be from 9 to 10am today at the funeral home prior to the funeral mass.The family requests that flowers be omitted and that donations be made instead to either Saint Casimirs Parish Building Fund 41 Providence Street Worcester Mass. 01604 or to Lithuanian Children's Relief Inc.
