Albert J. Butler, 75, of Old Derry Road, Londonderry, NH died Wednesday November 28, 2001 at his home following a brief illness. He was born on August 26, 1926 in Boston, MA, a son of Minnie (Woodbury) Butler of Londonderry, NH and the late Albert Butler. He was a resident of Londonderry for the last year, formerly living in Westford, MA and Littleton, MA. He served in the US Army. He was employed by Murray Supply, Medford, MA as a wholesaler for 20 years. He was a scoutmaster in Danvers, MA and Littleton, MA. He enjoyed canoeing, tenting, family trips and spending time with family and friends.He is survived by his wife Bernadette (Sirois) Butler, of Londonderry, NH, three daughters, Sharon Whiteside, of Oklahoma, Ellen Bailey, Rowley, MA, Janice Butler, Exeter, NH, four sons, Russell Butler, Ohio, Edward Butler, Arizona, Brian Butler, Beverly, MA, Gregory Butler, Londonderry, NH, stepson Anthony Ruggiero, Londonderry, NH, stepdaughter, Bernadette Ruggiero, Danville, NH, ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and one brother, Edward Butler, Andover, MA. It was the wish of Mr. Butler to have his remains gifted to the Tufts University School of Medicine for research. There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held on Monday December 10, 2001 at 9:00am at St. Anne Church, 95 King Street, Littleton, MA.
