TEWKSBURY - Margaret J. "Maggie" (Madden) (Belladue) Sheehan, 67, of Tewksbury died
Friday evening, Oct. 6, at the Blaire House of Tewksbury after a long period of declining health. She was born in Boston, the daughter of the late Irene (Sullivan) (Madden) Collins and William Madden. She was the wife of Maurice A. "Sonny" Sheehan, who died on January 19, 2004.
Maggie was a communicant of St. William's Catholic Church, and a member and Past Prefect of St. William's Blessed Virgin Mary Sodality. She was also an Oblate Lay Associate in the Lowell and Tewksbury communities. Maggie was a volunteer at the Tewksbury State Hospital for many years.
She is survived by her children and step-children, Thomas Belladue of Lowell,
Joan Belladue of Rochester, NH, Leanne and her husband Paul Winchester of
Tyngsboro, Sharon and Parasko Giannakas of Lowell, Michael Sheehan of Lowell, Mary Armstrong of Tyngsboro, Tim Sheehan and his wife Louise (Nigrelli) of Tewksbury; twelve grandchildren; one great grandson; and her siblings, Trudy Williams of Uxbridge, Irene Hirschfeld of Hudson, NH, Mike Collins of Syracuse, NY, Marylou Dickey of Searsport, ME, Jerry Collins of Salem, NH; and many nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late William Belladue, and sister of the late John Collins and Patricia Grondin.
Her Funeral Mass was celebrated Friday, Oct. 13, in St. William’s Church, Tewksbury. Burial followed at Tewksbury Cemetery. Memorials to the Oblate Father’s Infirmary Fund, P.O.
Box 419, Tewksbury, MA 01876 will be appreciated.
