Angelina (Colantoni) D’Attilio of Dedham died Friday, October 6, 2006 at the EPOCH Healthcare of Chestnut Hill, she was 82. She was the former wife of the late Daniel “Buddy” D’Attilio.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Filomena (Pitorri) Colantoni. She was a longtime Dedham resident and was a member of the St. Mary’s Church Sodality. A graduate of Burdette College, she was an employee of the New England Life Insurance Company for many years.
She is survived by her son, Daniel D’Attilio and his wife Jean of Dedham, a brother, Mario Colantoni of Osterville and a sister, Eda Vardaro of Clemmons, NC. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Joseph, John, and Frank Colantoni.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend her funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham, on Monday at 8:00 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Mary’s Church, Dedham, at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow in Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham. Visiting hours will be on Sunday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
