Edward J. Gendron, 86, of Stirling Drive in Harmony died Wednesday at Fatima Hospital. He was the husband of Mary M. (McGair) Gendron. They were married for 64 years.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Arthur J. and Dora (Brouillette) Gendron, he lived in Harmony for 40 years.
Mr. Gendron was WWII Army Veteran and a member of the 5th Army Association. He was a stone cutter for Adolph Mellor until retiring.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Edward G. Gendron of Chepachet and James F. Gendron of Warwick, four granddaughters, Carol and Michelle Gillen, Joelle and Brandy Beyer and two great grandsons, Drew and Ryan Gillen. He was the brother of the late Jeannete Lussier, Albert and Ernest J. Gendron.
Funeral Tuesday at 8:30 am from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville.
