FALL RIVER - Donald Mello, 47, of 282 Barnes St. Fall River, died Thursday in Fall River at Charlton Memorial Hospital after a long illness. He was the beloved husband of Donna Copsetta. He is survived by 1 Daughter: Marissa Mello; 1 Step-son: Ronald Copsetta of Fall River; 1 Step-Daughter: Kim Amaral of Fall River; 3 Brothers: George Mello, Richard Mello, and Robert Mello all of Fall River; 2 Sisters: Rosemary Couto and Nancy Hagenston both of Fall River; 4 Grandchildren: Adam, Sage, Veronica, and Alexa; 2 Nieces: Jessica Hagenston and Felicia Couto.
Born in Little Compton, RI the son of the late George Mello and the late Phylis J. (Simmons) Mello. He was a resident of Fall River for the past 17 years. Before retiring, he was a Self Employed Contractor for Mello Contracting. He had previously worked for Ken-Jon Realty. He also enjoyed Lobstering.
His funeral service will take place in the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1521 No. Main St., Fall River, MA on Saturday at 10:00 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling Hours on Saturday Morning 8:00 - 10:00 A.M.
