New Bedford - Charles E. Rose, 67, of New Bedford passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2006 at St. Luke’s Hospital after a brief illness.
Born in Westport, son of the late Joseph and Eliza (Perry) Rose, he had lived in New Bedford for most of his life. Prior to his retirement, he was a taxi driver and dispatcher for various taxi companies in the area.
Survivors include a brother: Joseph F. Rose of Fall River; 3 sisters: Lydia Santos of Westport, Sandra Beaulac of New Bedford and Sheila J. Rose of New Bedford; and several nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Manuel Rose.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Saturday, October 7, 2006 at the Potter Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M.
Calling hours 5 - 8 P.M.
Interment in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
