Robert J. Murphy, 67, of Salem, NH died Tuesday Oct. 3rd at Catholic Medical Center in Concord, NH. He had lived in Salem for the past 34 years.
Robert was born in Salem, MA the son of the late Joseph and Ethel (Perry) Murphy. He graduated from Salem High School in Salem, MA. He served his country in the US Air Force.
Robert was the owner and operator of the Haverhill Dairy Queen for 16 years. He enjoyed Antique Cars and had Antique Car shows every Sunday at the Haverhill Dairy Queen. Robert was previously employed as an Engineer for Digital in Westford, MA. He was a Master Electrician. Robert was a member of the Derry-Salem Elks.
He was predeceased by his son Kevin Murphy and his sister Elaine Ronan.

13 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, Several Nieces and Nephews
Calling hours will be Friday from 4-8 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10:30 AM at Mary Queen of Peace Church in Salem, NH. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
