Dorothy M.(Clark) Lyons, 86, died at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after a short illness . She was wife of the late Albert Lyons.
Born and raised in Boston, daughter of the late Joseph and Jenney (Sullivan) Clark, she attended Boston schools.
Dorothy was a resident Abington for 28 years.
She enjoyed being with her 8 children and their families.
She is survived by two sons and four daughters, Bruce Lyons of Florida, Al Lyons of Whitman, Annette Langley, Ella Mackenzie both of Florida, Judy Brophy of So. Easton and Heidi DePasqua of Sandwich; her brother Walter Clark of Wareham: also 20 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 5 great-great children. She was also the mother of the late Frank and Joe Lyons.
Funeral service will be held Friday October 6th at 11:00 A.M. in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street, and (Route 58 at the Rotary Circle) Whitman. Visiting hours Thursday October 5th 4-8. Memorial contributions may be made to Old Colony Hospice, One Credit union Way, Randolph, Ma.02368.
