Marcelle T. Montminy
Manchester– Marcelle T. Montminy, 82, died October 2, 2006, at Courville of Manchester following a period of declining health.
She was born in Manchester on October 30, 1923, the daughter of Eli and Eugenie (Plourde) Montminy.
Prior to her retirement she was a teacher in the Manchester School district, ending her tenure as the head of the Home Economics Department at Manchester West High School.
She was a member of the Alpha Chapter of A.D.K, the Manchester Area Retired Educators Association, and the American Home Economics Association.
IN HER LIFE : Family members include 2 cousins Elaine Merrifield, of Troy NH, and Rita Godbout, of Manchester, as well as other cousins. She lived with her Aunt and longtime companion Angeline Plourde, until her Aunt passed away in 1998.
SERVICES: calling hours will be Friday from 3 to 6 pm at J.N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home 110 Bridge St.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 9 am in Sacred Heart Church, South Main St. Burial will follow in St Augustin Cemetery.
