Wilfred J. Rousseau 82 formerly of 218 Pond St. died Tuesday, in Landmark Medical Center. He was born in Woonsocket a son of the late Alfred and Rose (Belanger) Rousseau. Mr. Rousseau was a knitter for the former Hiller Knitting Co. for many years and a card stripper for the Bonet Spinning Co. for six years retiring twenty years ago. He is survived by his sister-in-law and caregiver Rita I. Rousseau of Woonsocket and six children. He was also the brother of the late Albert J. Rousseau and Gerard A. Rousseau.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 10:30 in St. Joseph’s Church, Mendon Rd. Woonsocket, Burial will be held in Precious Blood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory to the American Cancer Society, New England Div. Inc. 222 Richmond St. Providence, RI 02903-4253 would be appreciated.
