Roberta A. "Bobbi" Shea, a lifelong resident of Melrose, died unexpectedly on Saturday, September 30, 2006, at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital. She was 59 years old.
Bobbi was born in Malden on March 11, 1947. She grew up in Melrose and attended Melrose Public Schools and graduated from Melrose High School in 1967. She was a clerk at Johnnie's Foodmaster in Melrose for several years.
Bobbi is the beloved daughter of Claire A. (Fisher) Shea of Melrose and the late Robert M. Shea. She is the loving twin sister of Nancy Shea of Melrose and the devoted sister of Barbara Shea of Melrose and Kevin Shea of Beverly.
Bobbi's Funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2006, at 9 a.m. from The Carr Funeral Home, 1159 Main Street, Melrose, followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Joseph's Church, 173 Albion Street, Wakefield, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours for Bobbi will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2006, from 4 to 7 p.m. Burial will take place at Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
