Obituary

Thomas S. Carr, 58, of Londonderry, NH, died Tuesday, September 10, 2002, at his home following a brief illness. He was born in Methuen, MA on January 9, 1944 a son of Sherman and Gertrude (Fallon) Carr. He was a resident of Londonderry for the past five months, formerly living in Salem, NH for 24 years. He was a graduate of Andover High School, Andover, Ma. Class of 1962. Mr. Carr had been employed as a production controller for Digital Corp. in Salem. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed watching sports on TV, especially the Boston Bruins.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Barbara M. (Poirier) Carr of Londonderry, four daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Pamala) Bisson of Londonderry, Mrs. Doug (Theresa) Mayer of Londonderry, Mrs. Rob (Deborah) Haskins of Manchester, Nichole Carr of Dracut, MA, ten grandchildren, his parents of Rye, NH, three sisters, Mary Lou Carr of Rye, NH, Jane Sullivan of Dunstable, MA, Liz Haskell of Kalamazoo, MI, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother, Robert Carr.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 13th at 10:00 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Crystal Ave., Derry, NH. The burial will be in the Pleasant View Cemetery in Londonderry. Friends may call on Thursday, September 12th from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. Memorial contributions may be made to the Portsmouth/Derry/Salem Home Health and Hospice, 15R East Broadway, Derry, NH 03038, or to the St. Jude’s Childrens Research Hospital, Box 50, Memphis, TN 38101.
