Obituary

Helen A, Cogger, age 95, September 26th, beloved wife of the late John Cogger,
passed away at the Judson Retirement Community in
Cleveland, Ohio. Mrs. Cogger was raised in Lowell and
lived her adult life in Lawrence and Andover.

Mrs. Cogger was a teacher for many years, beginning her career in Medford and
later taught for twenty-two years at the Tilton and
Consentino Schools in Haverhill. She was a graduate of
Lowell University and Calvin Coolidge College.

Helen was the wife of the late John A. Cogger, a
printer at the Eagle Tribune. She was the mother of
Janice Cogger of Cleveland, Ohio and the late Jack
Cogger of Allendale, N.J. Both of her children chose
careers in teaching.

Mrs. Cogger enjoyed her retirement years living in
Andover. She moved to Cleveland, Ohio in January,
2006, to be with her daughter.

Her funeral mass was celebrated in St. Augustine Church, 43 Essex Street,
Andover, Wednesday, October 4, 2006, at 10:30 AM. Many relatives and friends attended. Calling hours were in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover, Tuesday, October 3, 2006, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery, Lowell.
