Audrey S. Torrey, 96, of Pittsfield, NH died Sunday November 1, 2026 at the Epsom Healthcare in Epsom, NH. Audrey was born in Waltham, MA on December 20, 1929, a daughter of the late Robert M. and Bertha (Ratcliffe) Kingsbury. She had resided in Pittsfield since 1999, formerly living in Londonderry, NH.
She was a 1947 graduate of Pinkerton Academy in Derry, NH, later graduating from Notre Dame College in Manchester, NH in 1982. Audrey had been a member of the Londonderry Grange #44. She enjoyed knitting, crafts, making greeting cards and gardening.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Patterson and husband Timothy of Pittsfield, two grandchildren, Chad Patterson and wife Brandy of Manchester, and Scott Patterson and wife Carissa of Westminster, MD, five great-grandchildren, Daisy, Cody, Maggie, Chase and Edmund, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Prescott H. “Bill” Torrey, Jr. in 2005, her son, Robert P. Torrey, and sisters, Barbara Kingsbury and Nancy Deisroth.
Calling hours will be held on Friday November 6, 2026 from 10 – 11am in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. Funeral services will follow at 11:00am in the funeral home. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Londonderry.
