Julia M. (Dudley) Hallett, 76, of Cotuit formerly of Sherborn died on Saturday September 23, 2006 at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Yonkers, New York. She was the former wife of the late Richard H. Hallett who died on November 30, 1977.
Born in Jamestown, New York on December 7, 1929 she was a loving daughter of the late Franklin and Julia (Brancke) Dudley.
She was a graduate of Jamestown High School in New York and was also a graduate of the Pine Manor Junior College in Chestnut Hill, MA. Julia was a dedicated homemaker to her family
Her hobbies included reading and knitting as well as spending time with her loving family. She had lived in Cotuit for the past 25 years and was formerly of Sherborn for 25 years.
She is survived by her devoted children Marta Hallett of New York, Mark D. Hallett of New Fairfield, Conn., David H. Hallett of Peachtree City, Georgia and Karen Hallett of Cape Coral, Florida. Her cherished grandchildren Joshua, Geoffrey, Alexander, Claudia and Julia
Graveside funeral services, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Saturday September 30th at 11:00 A.M. at the Spring Brook cemetery, Mansfield
Visiting hours have been omitted. Donations in Julia’s memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
