With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we mourn the unexpected passing of our beloved Raynold Cyrille, who departed this life on October 27, 2026, at the age of 75. Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, to the late Fernande Demesmin, Raynold was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother. His sudden departure has left an immeasurable void in our hearts.
In Haiti, Raynold met the love of his life, Carmel Cyrille, whom he married in 1977. Together, they raised three children: Donald, Marly, and Martine Cyrille.
Raynold worked as a press operator in Haiti. After immigrating to the United States, he worked tirelessly to provide for his family as an auto body mechanic, customer support representative, and medical equipment technician.
A firm believer in education, Raynold wanted his children to have every opportunity to succeed, with one simple condition: "Do well in school." He shared this same encouragement with his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Faith was central to his life. He attended church every Sunday and enjoyed praying and singing gospel music at home and in church. He also loved soccer, sports, politics, traveling, walking, and listening to kompa music. He believed life should be enjoyed without unnecessary stress.
Though quiet and reserved, Raynold expressed his love through actions rather than words. He especially enjoyed playing with his grandchildren, often making silly gestures to bring laughter and smiles to their faces.
Raynold leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 49 years, Carmel Cyrille; his children, Donald, Marly, and Martine; his six grandchildren, Delsin, Austin, Isaac, Adina, Gabriel, and Zaire; his siblings, Marie, Margarette, Gladys, and Chantal; and many other relatives and loved ones.
His legacy of faith, sacrifice, education, and unconditional love will forever remain in our hearts.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
Family and friends are invited to attend the viewing on Thursday November 5, 2026 from 9-10 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 1548 Blue Hill Ave, Mattapan, MA. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery, 500 Canterbury Street, Roslindale, MA.
