Stephen Boucher (Steve), 72, of Sturbridge, Massachusetts, passed away on October 24, 2026, at Boston Medical Center following a sudden illness.
Steve leaves behind three children: Ryan and his wife, Jennifer, of Millbury; Cassie, of Millbury; and Veronica and her husband, John, of Sturbridge, and ten grandchildren.
He also leaves behind his three sisters, Barbara and her husband, Jimmy, Lois and her husband, Robert; and Susan; as well as his sister-in-law, Eileen. He also leaves behind his 14-year-old dog, Mazie.
Steve was predeceased by his mother, Yvonne; his father, Francis; his brother, Raymond; and brother in law Steven.
Steve worked as a maintenance man for most of his life. He enjoyed fishing, watching old Western movies, and collecting as many gadgets as he could get his hands on. He was stubborn and set in his ways, but he loved everyone in his own way.
The family would like to extend a special thank-you to his visiting nurse, Melissa, for the amazing care she provided Steve, and her team at Elara Caring for their kindness, patience, and dedication.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
