Millbury – Daniel G. Amour, 73, of Millbury, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2026 in the UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus after an illness.
Daniel is survived by his Children, Dawn Spokis and her husband, Brian of Sutton and David Amour of Charlton; a sister, Brenda Gauvin of Sutton; a brother, Michael Amour of Arizona and five grandchildren, Aundrea, Morgan, Andrew, Ava and Daniel. He was born in Worcester, son of the late George and Dorothy (Hairyes) Amour and is also predeceased by a sister, Linda Connolly.
Daniel was a gifted auto mechanic and spent the majority of his work career at the former Millbury Motors. His love for cars extended into working with his son customizing jeeps, and enjoyed taking his family for an off-road ride. He was a talented woodworker and could often be found in his basement wood shop. He also enjoyed spending time outdoors working in his yard or on the golf course.
Funeral services are being held privately and memorial contributions in memory of Mr. Amour may be made to the American Heart Association 93 Worcester Street Wellesley, MA 02481.
