Obituary

BELMONT --- Robert Allan Rein, 64, of Church Street, passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at Concord Hospital – Concord, NH.

Robert was born on April 15, 1962, in Milwaukee, WI, the son of the late Richard Peter Rein and Barbara Jean (Anderson) Rein.

Robert, Bob, Uncle Bobby—no matter what name you knew him by, you knew he was a character! He always found a way to inject humor into his conversations with you. Occasionally, you’d hear him get a bit scrappy if things didn’t go his way, but that didn’t last long. He was a huge fan of his hometown sports teams: the Packers, the Bucks, and the 2026 NLCS Champion Milwaukee Brewers! In his prime, he was quite a rockstar, attending many concerts. In fact, he would have made a great radio DJ if ever given the chance. Robert, along with Wally, were fortunate to travel extensively around the world. Bob loved sharing his vacation stories and always was planning his next adventure. Uncle Bobby truly loved listening to music, watching his teams play, and staying in touch with his many loved ones. It was also well-known that he enjoyed having a nice, relaxing, mellow time now and again. Despite overcoming many health scares over his 64 years on this earth, unfortunately, his body had finally had enough.

Leaving before him in the presence of our Lord and Savior are his parents, Richard and Barbara Rein; his sisters, Gloria Gammon and Judy Martynski; his sister-in-law, Paula Rein; his brothers-in-law, Randy Key and Ken Gammon; his nephews, Craig Scharlau and Jeffrey Key; his niece, Caitlin Key; and his longtime friends, Wally Rhodes, Sherman Gammon, and Elmer Lorenz.

He leaves behind his many cherished family and friends, including his brother Chuck, sisters Linda and Jeanne (Pat), brother-in-law Joe, nieces Kelly, Erin (Adam), Christy (Andy), Lisa, and Dena, nephews Davin (Robyn), Danny, Jason, Ken (Elise), and Wayne (Kristin), special friend Rhonda, good pal Micah, his little buddy Jaxon, and dear neighbors Jason and Kim, who have kindly agreed to take care of Robert’s beloved fur baby, Hunter.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
