William M. ”Billy” Marcolini, 35, died Wednesday September 27th in the Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston, after being hit on his motorcycle in Brockton Tuesday evening . He was the son of Joan (Brennan) Marcolini of Whitman and the late John A. Marcolini.
Born in Brockton, raised in Whitman, a graduate of Whitman-Hanson High School Class of 1989 and Massasoit Community College in 1991, with his degree in business .He also resided in Florida for 6 years before returning home to care for his father in 2005.
He was employed by the Boch superstore in Norwood, as an operational manager .He also worked in the auto industry up and down the east coast.
Billy was a health ,fitness, car and motorcycle enthusiast.
He is survived by his mother Joan (Brennan) Marcolini of Whitman; two brothers, and a sister John F. Marcolini of Gold Canyon, AZ., Thomas Marcolini of Hanson, Jean Dunbar of Plymouth; also a niece and 2 nephews. He was also the son of the late John A. Marcolini.
His funeral will be held Monday October 2nd, at 9:15 A.M. from the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Route 58 at the Rotary Circle) Whitman, followed by a funeral Mass at 10:00 A.M. in Holy Ghost Church Whitman. Burial will follow in the St. James Cemetery, Whitman, MA visiting hours Sunday October 1st 2-4 and 6-9.
