Robert L. St. Gelais, 86, passed away on October 18, 2026, at Catholic Medical Center following a brief illness.
He was born in Manchester on April 21, 1940, the son of Florien and Cecile (Lafleur) St. Gelais. He graduated from La Salette and earned his bachelor's degree from St. Anselm College. Robert proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force Reserves. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a Field Service Engineer for CCR Data Systems. He was a longtime parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church. He was also a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was extremely useful with his hands, often fixing anything with limited resources.
Family members include his wife, Priscilla (Garon) St. Gelais of Bedford; three children, Kevin St. Gelais (Jolie), Michael St. Gelais, and Tina Pabon (Will); three grandchildren, Kevin, Kaitlyn, and Sarah; five great grandchildren, Eli, Maxwell, Isabella, Theodore, Bentley; a brother, Scott St. Gelais; a sister, Andrea; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Kasey Griffin, on August 21, 2012.
A calling hour will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Blessed Sacrament Church on Elm Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 10:30 AM. Committal prayers will take place afterward at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Hooksett.
