Worcester – Thomas E. Hogan Jr., 51, of Worcester, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 8, 2026.
Tommy was a beloved father, son, brother, uncle, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Tommy leaves behind his two sons, Thomas E. Hogan III and Joseph P. Hogan, both of Dudley, and Joseph’s wife, Ayxa Rivera Hogan; his parents, Thomas E. Hogan Sr. and Karen (Bernier) Hogan of Worcester; and his two sisters, Kelly Wilson of Dudley, and Kimberly Hogan of Worcester.
He also leaves behind his nieces and nephews, DJ Wilson and his wife, Nicolina Wilson; Samantha Hogan and her fiancé, Mario Salgado; Mykal Hogan-Lopez; Paige Hogan; Jacob Wilson and Kaitlyn Wilson. He was also a proud great-uncle to Ethan and Landen Salgado, who will cherish all the memories they shared with him.
Tommy shared a special bond with his best friend, Hermanus “Hermie” Lensley, whose friendship was a very important part of his life.
Tommy enjoyed spending time outdoors and being surrounded by nature. He loved fishing, especially at local ponds and lakes, and looked forward to hunting every season, a tradition he especially enjoyed sharing with his father. When he wasn't outdoors, Tommy could often be found playing darts with his friends or spending time in the garage working on cars, teaching his little guy, Landen, everything he knew. He was a skilled handyman who seemed to be able to fix just about anything and everything just ask his neighbors! If something was broken, Tommy was the person you called.
Tommy also had a way of trying to make everyone laugh, no matter what the situation was. He was known for his corny jokes, and whether people laughed with him or shook their heads at his punchlines, he always tried to bring a little humor into the moment. His hugs had a special way of making everything feel a little better, no matter how hard the day had been. Sometimes, all you needed was one of his hugs to feel like things were going to be okay. His humor, his hugs, and the comfort he brought to those around him were all part of what made him so special, and they are things his family and friends will always remember and miss.
Tommy will be remembered for his many talents, his love of the outdoors, his passion for working on cars, his corny jokes, and the time he spent with family and friends. His unexpected passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved him. The memories he created, the laughter he shared, and the comfort he brought through even the simplest hug will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, October 24 from 2 to 5 PM in the Alfred Roy and Sons – Henry Funeral Service Memorial Chapel at 33 Ward Street, Worcester.
