Theresa N. Twining (Phoenix, formerly Tucker), 64, passed away at Baystate Medical Center surrounded by her loving family on October 1, 2026. She was born in Springfield on January 31, 1962, to the late Robert and Clarice (Vaughn) Phoenix. She worked for Aramark at Holyoke Community College for many years. Theresa enjoyed her crafts, baking, and tending to her garden. She was predeceased by her son, Justin Tucker, and her brothers, Robert, Howard and Willard (Skipper) Phoenix.
Theresa leaves her husband, Michael Twining of Chicopee; her son, Zachary Tucker and his wife Samantha of Agawam; her daughter, Melissa Tucker and her husband Miguel Rodriguez of Springfield; her sisters, Janet Collina of Chicopee and Joanne London and her husband Douglas of Georgia; her brother, Kenneth Phoenix of Gardner; her grandchildren, Joseph, Nicole, and Alina Winn, Jordan Vasquez, and Kaiden Tucker; and her great-grandson, Jose Rosario IV.
A private graveside Service will be held at Forestdale Cemetery, 304 Cabot Street, Holyoke, MA for family and close friends.
