Obituary

In Loving Memory of
Regina “Penguina” Guess
Regina “Penguina” Guess, age 41, passed away peacefully on September 6th, leaving behind a lifetime of memories, love, and countless people whose lives she touched.

Born on December 27th in Ventura County, California, Regina was a lifelong resident of the community she called home. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt, friend, and a beautiful servant of the Lord.

Regina was a woman who did the best she could with what she had and made the best decisions she could under the circumstances she was given. Her life was not always easy, but she continued to try to become a better version of herself every day. She was a hardworking and dedicated woman who never stopped trying to provide, love, and do right by the people who mattered most to her.

Above all else, Regina loved her children more than words could ever express. She was a devoted mother to her four children, Mario, Arlene, Heavenly, and Josephine, whom she loved with all of her heart. She wanted the best for each of them and made the choices she believed were best for her children, always carrying their love with her.

Regina was the kind of person who would give you the shirt off her back. She had a generous heart and was always willing to help others, even when she didn't have much herself. Her faith was an important part of who she was, and she sought to serve the Lord and live a life that reflected her faith.

Regina was preceded in death by her beloved parents Mary-Ann and Vigil.

She leaves behind her children, Mario, Arlene, Heavenly, and Josephine; her grandmothers, Josephine and Linda; her siblings, Guadalupe, Christina, and Jesse; her nephews, William, Jayden and Isaiah; her nieces, Lily and Sarai; her best friend, Hanna; and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.

Regina's life was a testament to perseverance, love, faith, and the desire to keep trying. She wasn't perfect, because none of us are, but she kept moving forward and kept trying to be better. She loved deeply, worked hard, and did what she could with the circumstances life placed before her.

Her physical presence may be gone, but the love she gave her children, family, and friends will remain.

“Another beautiful, blessed and sober day in life. Only the strong and beautiful survive.”

May Regina finally find the peace she spent her life searching for. May she rest in the loving arms of the Lord, surrounded by the eternal love she so deeply deserved.

Rest peacefully, Regina “Penguina” Guess.
You are loved. You are missed. And you will never be forgotten. ?????
