ALMAS E. MEDZORIAN
ALMAS E. MEDZORIAN age 61, died Friday Sept. 22, 2006 at Carney Hospital in Dorchester. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Souren and Arshalous (Tashjian) Medzorian. Miss Medzorian was a resident of Standish Village in Dorchester Lower Mills. During her working life, she was employed as a housekeeper in the Barnes Building in Boston as well as area hotels. Almas was a retarded adult who was very proud of her independence and her ability to care for herself and in her younger years, for her family home. She is survived by her brother; Harry Medzorian of Dorchester, her sister; Anna King and Anna's husband James "Billy" King of Pembroke, her nieces; Gerianne Patti of Nashua, N.H., Karen Allen of South Natick, Patricia King Fletcher of South Natick as well as 2 Grandnephews and 2 Grandnieces. Almas is also survived by her many friends from Lower Mills. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday Sept. 27, 2006 at 12 Noon in the O'Donnell & Mulry Funeral Home, 138 Neponset Ave., Dorchester, MA. Fr. Vaskin of Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Church in Cambridge will officiate. Visiting will take place prior to the Service from 10 A.M. until 12 Noon.Donations in Almas' memory may be made to the Activities Fund at Standish Village, 1190 Adams St., Dorchester, MA 02124. Interment will take place at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Dorchester.
