Westport - Elizabeth J. Borges, 36, of Sanford, Rd., Westport passed away Monday, September 25, 2006 at home after a brief illness. She was the beloved companion of many years of Rick Martin of Westport.
Born in Fall River, daughter of Antonio Borges, Jr. of Westport and the late Lona A. (Vieira) Borges, she was a lifelong resident of Westport. A 1988 graduate of Westport High School, she was a race director for Radical Rick’s Race City, Swansea, MA. Miss Borges enjoyed football, camping and was a great race fan.
Including her companion and father, she is survived by a daughter: Krystal McConnell of Westport; 5 brothers: James Borges of Dartmouth, Russell Borges of Westport, Barry Borges of Westport, Tony Borges of Westport and Robert Borges of Westport; 3 sisters: Lisa Anuszczyk of Fall River, Lona Brown of Fall River and Kristin Buffinton of Swansea; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Friday, September 29, 2006 from the Potter Funeral Home at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Grace Church, Westport at 10:00 A.M.
