Reddish, Elsa Horter of Naples, Florida, and formerly of Brookline and Needham, MA. September 26, 2026. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Edward J. Reddish, her treasured son, Paul E. Reddish (Lisa), and her precious grandson, Michael A. Reddish.
Elsa was a devoted mother to Michael J. Reddish (Theresa), Nancy Reddish, Ned Reddish, Jeffrey Reddish (Laureen), and Kathryn Chiappinelli (Brian), as well as a cherished grandmother to 14 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her siblings, Elin Young and Eric Horter, and parents, Margaret Poulsen and Don Horter.
A proud graduate of Brookline High School and The University of New Hampshire, Elsa was an active member of the Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. She worked alongside her husband, Eddie, in several family businesses related to waste management and construction. Her keen eye for fashion led her to co-own The Depot, a consignment shop in Needham, from the late 1970s through the early-1980s.
When not working, Elsa dedicated countless hours to cheering on her children at hockey rinks, baseball fields, and soccer games, ensuring they always had a supporter on the sidelines.
A lifelong Boston sports fan, Elsa could often be found in her home office at night, keeping up with the Red Sox or Bruins while sorting through the day’s paperwork. She was known for her generosity, always supporting family, friends, and the causes she believed in.
Golfing became a passion for Elsa, especially in her retirement. She enjoyed her days at Charles River Country Club in Newton, MA and Quail West Country Club in Naples, FL where she built many friendships and memories while on the course or playing Bridge.

A private Mass of Christian burial will be held.
