LACONIA ---- Raymond Arthur Samson, 90, of Mile Hill Road, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2026 at home surrounded by his loved ones.
Raymond was born on March 22, 1936, in Laconia, NH, the son of the late Lionel Samson and Jeannette (Dulac) Samson.
He worked at Verizon for over 30 years. He built a house on Mile Hill Road in Laconia with his wife, Sheila, in the 1960’s. Raymond and his wife spent their winters in Florida and traveled together across Europe.
Raymond is survived by his sons Theodore Samson and his wife Sandra, Timothy Samson and his wife Michelle, and Christopher Samson; grandchildren Andrew Samson, Joshua Samson, Nicholas Samson, and Brittany Samson; great-grandchildren Maranda, Elayna, Bentley, and Jordan; niece Kimberly; and nephew Bruce. In addition to his parents, Raymond is predeceased by his wife Sheila Samson and brother Roland Samson.
There will be no calling hours.
A Graveside Service with military honors will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at noon at the New Hampshire Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH.
