Catherine D. (Hill) McHugh, age 62 of Worcester, MA passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2026 in Saint Vincent's Hospital in Worcester. Born on December 21, 1963 in Boston, Cathy was the fourth child of Wilfred and Bernice (Kelley) Hill. Cathy was a graduate of Dedham High in 1982. She loved spending time on an ocean beach. It was where she felt most at peace.
She is survived by her son, Nicholas McHugh and his wife Alexandra, her son Ryan McHugh; and her three grandchildren, Ariella, Izabella, and Rowan McHugh all of Derry, NH. In addition, Cathy is survived by her mother, Bernice of Dedham, MA; her sister, Shirley (David) Perry of Chatham, NY; and her brother, David Hill of Schodack, NY; along with many nieces and nephews. Catherine is predeceased by her father Wilfred and her brother Steven.
A private celebration of life will be held at a future time and date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association in Cathy's name. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium of Derry and Londonderry are assisting the family with arrangements.
