Alejandro Castillo, age 75, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Lima, Peru, Alejandro came to the United States in 1980 and made East Boston, Massachusetts, his home. He remained proud of his Peruvian heritage and looked forward to his yearly visits to Peru, where he enjoyed time with loved ones and traditional dishes.
Alejandro found joy in music, dancing, long walks, and exploring Boston, where he seemed to know every bus route. His family will always cherish his stories, laughter, and the many happy memories he shared with them.
He was the loving father of Maribel Ochoa, Rosa De Los Santos, and Nidia Buckley; grandfather of Eva, Miguel Angel, Allen, and Sidney; and proud great-grandfather of four. He is also survived by his beloved sisters and brother, extended family, and many friends.
Though deeply missed, Alejandro’s love, warmth, and memories will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Monday, September 28, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee Street, Tewksbury, Massachusetts.
A private burial will take place on Tuesday, September 29.
