Barbara Ann Moore Gibbs, 75, of Enigma passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at her residence surrounded by loved ones. Her funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday, September 28, 2026, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Joseph L. Crumley officiating. Mrs. Gibbs will be laid to rest at Turner Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Enigma. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 28, 2026, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals from 3:00 p.m. until the hour of the service.
Tyler Snow, Zach Howard, Garrett Lokey, Gage Lokey, Zach Moore and Kaleb Cowart will serve as pallbearers.
Born August 14, 1951, in Colquitt County, Mrs. Gibbs was the daughter of the late Carlton Moore and Bessie Rowell Moore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Tommy Dale Gibbs; one sister, Brenda Gail Moore; and one brother, Rusty Moore.
Barbara loved seeing her grandchildren and enjoyed working, cooking, watching Hallmark movies and collecting angels.
Left behind to cherish Mrs. Gibbs’ memory is her three daughters, Crystal Gibbs (Jason MacDonald), Candy Lokey (Mark Metts) and Carrie (David) Conway; her six grandchildren, Tyler Snow (Zach Howard), Gage (Sarah) Lokey, Camrie Stokesberry (Jacob Tucker), Garrett Lokey, Jennie Lynn (Ben) Woodruff and Jamie Anne (Kyle) Duran; fourteen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dianne Snow and Sue (Ricky) Baker; one brother, Dicky Moore; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their special thanks to Affinity Hospice and Sonia Cowart (Barbara’s niece) for their patience, kindness and compassionate support and to all the prayer warriors.
