Blanche Pearl (Farnan) Boudreau, 85, of Lowell, known affectionately to all who loved her as "Nan", died peacefully in her sleep at her home on Thursday, September 17, 2026.
Born in Billerica on July 15, 1941, she was the daughter of the late James Farnan and the late Marion McGuirk. She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur Boudreau.
She was a homemaker who devoted her life to her family and to the home she made for them. She was a parishioner of the former St. Peter's Church in Lowell.
Anyone who knew Blanche knew that shopping was her great delight, her favorite pastime and a pleasure she never outgrew. Friday nights belonged to her son, Michael, when the two of them would have dinner together at George's Deli, or "Lou's," as she always affectionately called it. Above all, her family was her joy. The grandchildren and great-grandchildren she helped to raise were the light of her life, and the time she spent with them was the truest measure of her happiness.
She is survived by her five children, Donna Hamilton of Lowell, Michael Zepkoski, Jr. of Lowell, Ann Marie Zepkoski and her husband, Francisco Tavares, of Lowell, Stephanie Boudreau of Lowell, and Marion Boudreau of Lowell. She was the cherished grandmother of Joe Hamilton, Jerri Hamilton, Jeff Hamilton and his wife, Laurie, Brian Zepkoski and his wife, Amanda, who was also Nan's devoted caretaker, Alicia Zepkoski, Joey Boudreau and his wife, Alyson, Kaylee Boudreau, and Evan and Ethan Boudreau. She also leaves five great-grandchildren, Caydin, Aaliyah, Mya, Jayce, and Adryan, and a great-granddaughter who is expected in February. She is further survived by her brothers, Donald Farnan of Lawrence and John Farnan and his wife, Rowena, of Lowell, as well as many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. She was predeceased by her sister, Lorette Svedberg, and by her brothers, Robert Farnan and Richard Farnan.
