In Loving Memory of Wieslaw Gumienny
(February 19, 1962- September 18, 2026)
With heavy hearts, our family announces the passing of Wieslaw Gumienny (64) of Dudley, who passed away peacefully from complications related to a sudden and unexpected medical complication. He was surrounded by his loving family, who remained by his side.
Wieslaw was born in Poland and was preceded in death by his parents, Jan and Anna Gumienny, and his brother, Wiesiu Gumienny. He is survived by his brothers, Bronislaw Gumienny and Eugeniusz Gumienny.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 38 years, Alicja Gumienny, and their two beautiful children, Adrian Gumienny and his significant other, Ali Germain, and Olivia Rayla and her husband, Matthew Rayla. He also leaves behind his two wonderful grandchildren, Max and Ellie, who brought him tremendous joy.
Wieslaw was a loving husband, father, and dziadzia who will be terribly missed. He was a calm and steady soul in our lives, someone who brought comfort simply by being there. His love, kindness, and quiet presence meant more to his family than words can express. He will truly be missed and will remain in the hearts of all who loved him.
His Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Church (please meet at church) on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m., followed by a private burial. There will be no calling hours.
