Thomas Joseph Donahue of West Roxbury, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2026, at the age of 90. A proud veteran, having served his country in the U.S. Army’s 187th Infantry Regiment “Rakkasans,” 101st Airborne Division. Tom was most proud of his family, his friends, and having served his country.
He is now reunited with his beloved wife, Eileen, whom he cherished dearly.
Tom is survived by his son, Tom; his son-in-law, Roy; his daughter, Susan and son-in-law, Billy; his grandchildren, Mike, Melissa, Nick, and Kaylea; his great-grandchildren, Anthony and Hayden; and his sister, Maryellen.
Tom will be lovingly remembered by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him for his sense of humor and ability to light up a room. To say he lived his life on his own terms would be an understatement.
Visiting Hours at the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St. West Roxbury on Monday, September 28th from 9-11am. Interment to follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne at 1:45pm.
