Dorinda Deanne Edge Young, 55, of Irwin County, Georgia, died, Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at her residence.
Graveside services will be held 11 AM, Friday September 18, 2026, at Evergreen Cemetery, with Robbie Edge Jr. & Rev. Jeanette Young officiating. The family will greet friends at the cemetery following the service.
Mrs. Young was born June 16, 1971, in Atlanta, Georgia, to Lynda Kaye Fuller Edge and the late Robert Allen Edge. She was a 1989 graduate of Fitzgerald High School and worked as a Clerk for Murphy USA. She loved people and the opportunity to meet people on her job. Most of all she loved her children and grandchildren, they were her world.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 40 years, Allen Young; her children and their spouses: Kayla Griffin (Kyle), Kara Massey (Adam), Dalton Young, and Clint Young Jr. (Jessica); grandchildren: Kaden Griffin, Kenslie Griffin, Callen Young, and Case Young; a brother, Robert Allen “Robbie” Edge Jr. (Robin); a mother in law, Rev. Jeanette Young; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
