
LUDLOW – Lawrence W. “Larry” Renaud, 67, of Ludlow, was Called Safely Home on Monday, September 14, 2026. He passed into Eternal Life at the East Longmeadow Skilled Nursing Center in East Longmeadow surrounded by the care and comfort of his loving family. He was born in Holyoke on November 15, 1958, a beloved son of the late William J. and Cecile S. (LaPointe) Renaud. He was raised and educated in Chicopee and had lived in Western Massachusetts for many years before moving to Ludlow in 2023. He served his country in the United States Air Force and attained the rank of Airman Basic. He was employed as a machinist at Smith and Wesson in Springfield. During his leisure time, he enjoyed watching movies and television and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and his many friends. He leaves his three loving daughters, Melissa S. Georgina and her wife, Jacquelyn, of Brattleboro, VT, Amy Cawley of Turners Falls and Angela Bennett of Falmouth; his cherished grandson, Braydon Fostyck of Brattleboro, VT; his three dear brothers, Thomas Renaud of Orange City, FL, David Renaud and his wife, Kathleen, of Indian Orchard and Kevin Leblanc of Westfield; his dear sister, Joanne Renaud of Orange City, FL; and his many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his dear brother, William Renaud. His relatives and friends are invited to attend a Committal Service with United States Air Force Military Honors on Friday, November 13, 2026 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel at the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main Street, Agawam, MA 01001, (Please meet directly at the Cemetery Chapel).
